Flyer Meeting

E-mail Print PDF

Hi All,

For those of you helping on and working on the new CCWS Flyer and promotion items, this is to remind you that there will be a meeting this Wednesday, (Dec. 9th.) at the Klamath County Government Center, 305 Main St., in K. Falls. Room 214 starting at 6PM. We will be working on polishing that and on the wording for the grant to fund this with.

If you can't make it, but have ideas, send them to me by Wednesday afternoon.

Holly, hope you still have the notes and the wording we worked on.

Hope to see you folks Wednesday evening. We have to have the grant in by the end of Jan.

Thanks,

Tom

Moore Park Wrap Up

E-mail Print PDF
This year’s event went very well. We had a great turnout of spectators and reenactors alike, as well great weather and a wonderful weekend.

Special thanks to all the vendors we had, as well as all those who helped with field obstructions and advertising, including Wings West Clydesdales Ranch, NNB Radio, The Nickel Ad Paper, Mia and Pia’s, all those around town allowing our flyers posted up and the groups who came out including YMCA and Virtual Oregon Academy.

If we do a 2010 event, which from word around town as well as surveys show, it will be a big hit, and a big hit means big crowds, and that means overall support of the Cascade Civil War Society in Klamath Falls, we will need to get cracking now to set this up. Not sure as of now if I would be interested in heading this year's event, but either way, we will need a select group of dedicated members to come together and get this event 100% set and ready to go by June 1st, 2010.
If anyone wants to know more info on the event or has any comments or complaints, what you liked and what you wanted done better, let me know! Just email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or click my name below.
